Ambrosia Filament's line of Über ABS (ABS+) unlike other ABS additive filaments is specifically designed to give you the heat resistance and material properties of ABS but print more like butter than ever (it's a low calorie filament, don't worry!). Many others include PLA or other materials that reduce its use, not us.

Feed your Printer the Filament of the Gods.

Derived from 100% Virgin Grade-A Non-Toxic pellets. Manufactured to a tighter than standard tolerance (+/- 0.03mm) you'll experience consistent extrusion throughout the spool.

ABS Filament (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is one of the most popular 3D printing filaments around, used in a variety of applications including industrial/engineering. It is a filament that handles bridging really well, and offers a great combination of strength and durability making it the first choice for more practical 3D prints (over PETG or PLA) that require tougher longer lasting items that can withstand greater temperatures. ABS can be smoothed using acetone, making for strikingly smooth parts.

This filament is actually where Ambrosia originally derived its "butter" moniker found on every recyclable spool we sell, as you'll find, it prints like butter. This ABS+ is a composite material derived from 80% pure virgin ABS and 20% additives (pssst. it's PETG) and maintains technical properties, including the ability to withstand heat, similar to ABS. This filament performs well in high speed printing, and even is able to be printed without an enclosure using our Makers Mistress bed adhesive (it is still recommended to print in an enclosure). A heated bed is required.

  • Arrives to you in a cardboard box, with filament wound in a cardboard spool, vacuum sealed with a desiccant bag.
  • Derived from 100% Virgin (Grade-A) non-toxic pellets
  • Diameter: 1.75mm (+/-0.03mm)
  • Filament Net Weight: 1KG
  • Spool Weight:

The glue holding the filament spool together is rated for an environment of 70C (158F). If using a filament dryer or require the filament spool by placed in an environment exceeding this temperature, we recommend printing a spool clip (here).

Filament can absorb moisture easily. To prevent moisture absorption and contamination, the packing of filament should be kept sealed and in an airtight container with desiccant.
